The EU has proposed new legislation relating to Data Protection. It is proposed to have completely different rules in some areas than what we currently have. The proposal will now be debated in the EU and it will regardless, take many years before the conditions eventually have consequence for Norway. The lawyers, Eva Jarbekk and Torstein Arendt have taken a closer look at the proposal for this article published in Computerworld in January 2012.
