Per Sigvald Wang assists both public and private clients in complex disputes. He has substantial experience within dispute resolution and litigation, and is admitted to the Supreme Court. He has as an attorney-at-law in the Office of the Attorney General (Civil Affairs), argued a wide range of civil cases before all instances of courts, including the Supreme Court, and contributed in court-facilitated mediations as well as negotiations out of courts. His experience includes various forms of mediation and national as well as international arbitration. 

Wang possesses extensive experience and in-depth knowledge within contract law. He has at the Office of the Attorney General (Civil Affairs), litigated, negotiated and advised in various contract law cases; including sale and purchase of goods, service concession and construction contracts. At CMS Kluge he has acted as lead counsel and head of the firm’s litigation team in several major construction and infrastructure disputes, as well as in a number of commercial contractual disputes within real estate, industry and energy.    

As a deputy judge Wang managed numerous civil law cases. As a legal adviser in the Ministry of Justice, Legislation Department, Wang was responsible for drafting legislation and providing advice on the laws of contract and tort. He has international experience from representing Norway in expert committees of EFTA, EU-Commission, OECD and UNCITRAL.

Wang has been an appointed member of several government-appointed law commissions. He was a member of the Credit Purchase Law Commission and the Audit Requirement Law Commission. 

Wang has for many years regularly been giving lectures on contract law, company law and civil procedural law at the University of Oslo, Faculty of Law.
