Hanne works mainly with employment law, data protection law, dispute resolution and litigation.
On the employment law area Hanne advises Norwegian and international clients as well as public entities on an ongoing basis. She assists in negotiations and litigations within both the individual and collective employment law area. The advice includes dismissal, restructuring and downsizing processes, business transactions, working hours, hiring, collective agreement issues etc.
Hanne has considerable experience in negotiating and resolving individual disputes, and she regularly litigates cases for the courts in Norway.
Hanne also works with data protection issues, and she leads Kluge's working group on data protection. Within this field Hanne assists with everything from implementing total data protection systems to individual assistance in connection with different notification forms and applications to The Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Typical tasks are assistance related to data protection clauses in commercial contracts, preparation of data processing agreements etc. In addition, Hanne has experience with various control measures in companies (GPS tracking of vehicles, camera surveillance etc.). She also advises regularly in connection with companies' needs to inspect employees' email boxes.
Hanne has experience in leading investigations, and she also has knowledge of the development of various compliance programs for companies, such as programs for prevention of corruption.
Hanne lectures regularly in the fields of employment law and data protection law.
Hanne has previously worked as an in-house lawyer in the legal department of the Norwegian recycling Group (Norsk Gjenvinning Norge AS), as a lawyer in the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprises (NHO), and furthermore, as a lawyer in the Federation of Norwegian Industries (Norsk Industri).
