Lise worked in legal department in Eksportfinans for more than 4 years where she assisted with drafting and negotiation of loan documentation and establishment of securities. Lise has further, from her position as responsible lawyer in BNP Paribas branch in Norway from May 1985 until she started in Kluge in December 2007, extensive experience from the banking sector. As the only lawyer in the Norwegian branch, she gave advice to the management and employees within all legal fields (corporate finance, security and guarantees, data protection law, labour legislation). Lise was the bank's company secretary until the bank was transformed to branch. She assisted the management when the bank purchased and thereafter merged with Kjøbmandsbanken, and later transforming the bank from a subsidiary to a branch. She was responsible for the drafting of the bank's different contracts both within the corporate and private marked, within both deposit, lending and guarantees and assisted in the negotiations of large loan transactions. She was further responsible for that both management and employees at all times were updated and complied with the at any time applicable legislation for banks.
In Kluge Lise is assisting banks, smaller and listed companies with drafting, negotiating and establishing of loan documentation, guarantees, mortgage and other security documents (hereunder mortgage documents in licenses in the North Sea). The work implies extensive use of and cooperation with lawyers in several jurisdictions. In addition Lise give advice on contract and corporate law, in addition to general advice within corporate finance.
