Maren Storhaug Fosse works in CMS Kluge’s Construction Department. She works in particular with litigation, dispute resolution and advisory services in the area of private property, contract law and construction law. Fosse’s other areas of expertise include labour law and maritime law.

At the University of Bergen Fosse was in charge of giving a group of younger students at the Faculty of Law guidance in administrative law, legal methods, contract law, as well as family and inheritance law.

During her studies Fosse specialized in maritime law at TC Beirne School of Law, University of Queensland. Her master thesis was titled “Binding third parties to incorporated clauses regarding jurisdiction and arbitration in the bill of lading – A comparative exposition of the juridical status according to the Norwegian Maritime Act and the Lugano Convention”. Through her research, Fosse acquired general knowledge regarding i.a. jurisdiction and choice of law in cases of cross-border transportation and trade.

Fosse has previously worked as an associate in Arntzen de Besche Law firm AS, where she in particular worked with private property, construction law and labour law.
