Marte has worked with intellectual property law for more than 20 years, and for many years she has been the Managing Director of IFPI Norway (International Federation of the Music Industry) where she on behalf of Norwegian and international record companies has had as a main task to promote the value of recorded music, secure rights to the music producers and expand the commercial use of recorded music in all markets where members operate. Marte will continue to work for IFPI and Norwegian music industry, but now as a part of Kluges strong intellectual property environment.
With her broad legal expertise within intellectual property law and marketing law as well as extensive industry experience, Marte is an advisor who combines legal insight with commercial understanding. Marte has particularly good competence on valuation of and licensing of intellectual property rights, in addition to a good understanding of political processes through long experience as responsible for ensuring the framework conditions for Norwegian and international music producers in Norway. Marte has broad experience from various board positions, good financial understanding as well as technology understanding, by being a key figure through the digitalisation of the Norwegian music industry.
