Sunniva has worked as a senior associate at Kluge since 2010, and she is affiliated with the Manufacturing, Retailing & Finance Department in Bergen. Sunniva has specialized in labour law, but she also has experience with issues related to contract law, the law of damages, dispute resolution/litigation and company law.

She's affiliated with Kluges Department of Energy, Industry and Finance in Bergen, and she is part of the Labor Law / Privacy working group, and works mainly in these areas. Sunniva works primarily on a day-to-day basis as an adviser and with litigation assignments related to various labour law issues, in the area of both individual and collective labour law. Sunniva assists, for example, clients with restructuring, workforce reductions, employment protection disputes and various personnel issues on both the employer and employee sides.
Recently, Sunniva has also largely focused on the subject of data protection, and has held a series of lectures and courses for business councils, clients and other contacts regarding the new privacy rules that will come into force in spring 2018. Sunniva has good knowledge of the requirements imposed on Norwegian companies in the Personal Data Act and Regulations, as well as the changes that the new privacy regulation will entail. Sunniva assists clients in connection with the requirements for internal control, data processing agreements, employer's right to access to e-mail, transfers of personal information abroad, etc.
In addition, Sunniva has litigation experience in both labour law cases and several other types of cases.
