Expro Holdings Norway AS announced on 2 July 2019 that it has entered into and closed an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares of Quality Intervention AS.
The PE fund Norvestor announced on 10 January 2019 that it has entered into and closed an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares of Wellit Holding AS from the founders, and with a reinvestment of 40 % of the shares.
A team from Kluge Advokatfirma, lead by partners Thomas Abrahamsen and Snorre Haukali, has together with Kanter Advokatbyrå KB assisted the sellers of Oglaend System Group in the sale of the group to Liechtenstein global player Hilti. The transaction is subject to approval by antitrust authorities.

Thomas works with transactions/M&A, general company and corporate law, offshore contracts, petroleum law, IPR and renewable energy.
He assists buyers and sellers, including private equity funds and brokers/investment banks, with transactions and contracts, in particular within the energy sector. The transactions include corporate restructurings, portfolio optimisations, private placements, IPO’s, share sales, assets sales as well as mergers and acquisitions. Thomas has specialised in licence transactions on the Norwegian continental shelf, and he has advised on a number of the significant E&P transactions on the NCS since 2010. Thomas has been project lead or Norwegian counsel in a number of cross-border M&A projects and is a hands on legal project manager. He has many years of experience with assisting oil companies and oil services companies, not just in relation to ongoing advise for day-to-day operations, but also in strategic processes, such as raising capital and the sale of all or parts of a business. A significant part of his workload has been focused on co-operation agreements, shareholder agreements and JV arrangements.
Thomas has been a director and acted as board secretary in various companies in a range of industries, such as consumer industry products, retail, renewable energy, family owned holding companies and financial services. Thomas served as a director of the board in Kluge from 2009-2015, and as chairman of the board in Kluge from 2011-2015.
Thomas is widely used as a lecturer, both for the University of Stavanger for a number of years on corporate law, on various oil and gas industry events, and as a supplier of professional courses to the oil and gas industry related to contract risk management.
He has broad experience in general contract law and project work, including negotiating and concluding contracts, dispute resolution and litigation, as well as providing ongoing assistance to project organisations for the follow-up of contracts/projects.
Thomas has been listed within Oil and Gas and M&A in Legal 500 over a number of years and has also been listed in Chambers within M&A.
