Torstein completed his education at the University of Oslo in 2011 and started as an associate at Kluge Advokatfirma in January 2012. He is affiliated with the Property & Construction Department and works primarily with cases in the area of construction law, including consumer construction pursuant to the Housing Construction Act, as well as other contractual problems.
At Kluge, Torstein has been involved in several final settlement disputes for both construction clients and contractors. He has also worked a great deal with ongoing advisory services for large building and construction projects, and he has also been contracted to the project administrations of large building and construction projects for roads and railways in this connection. Through his work, Torstein has acquired good experience with dispute resolution through negotiations, dispute resolution through the courts and with general contract administration.
During his time at Kluge, Torstein has had many large litigation assignments before the District Court and Court of Appeal, and he received his licence to practice in January 2014. He regularly litigates cases before the courts.
