Oslo Architecture Triennale (OAT) had its official opening conference on the 9 September at the Norwegian National Opera at Bjørvika. The conference brings together architects, thinkers, decision-makers and local experts to discuss how our belonging depends on and is influenced by the architecture that forms our society.

Strengthening our Energy department

We are pleased to announce that our Tier 1 Oil- and Gas department, is even further strengthened by the addition of associate partner, Samuel Skrunes. Samuel is returning to Kluge after four years as legal counsel in Statoil ASA, where he has worked extensively with upstream contracts both on the Norwegian continental shelf and internationally.

A team from Kluge (lead by partners Audun Stornes and Thomas Abrahamsen, and with associate Joar Kalsaas as part of the team) assisted Dong E&P Norge AS with its sale of its participating interests in Oselvar, Tambar, Tambar East, Trym and Ula fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to Faroe Petroleum Norge AS for a consideration of MUSD 70,2.

Kluge supports wind power deal

Last week, it was announced that Zephyr and Norwegian Wind Energy sold the Rogaland-based windpower company Tellenes to an investment fund managed by the investment giant BlackRock. BlackRock is the world’s largest investment management firm by assets. Kluge law firm played a central part in the process.
